My career started at the age of 17. I worked as a cashier in various comic shops and bookstores while dreaming of being an artist. Drawing everyday eventually inspired me to create my own comic book, Bathroom Girls
A stroke of luck landed me in a trivia contest on the Howard Stern Show. During the commercial break I gave Howard some of my Bathroom Girls comics. When we got back on the air he praised my work and I won the contest! By the time I got home I had multiple offers from publishers, distributors, and several media companies who wanted to hire me as a cartoonist. The job offers I accepted gave me the chance to design and develop a wide variety web content for many corporate clients including, Chanel, Gillette, Sony, Maybelline, Nine West, AOL, Samsung, Neutrogena, Roxy, ELLE, ELLEgirl, Verizon (Award Winning Campaign), Jane Magazine, Dodge, Volvo, Woman's Day Magazine, Premiere Magazine, Pepperidge Farms, Estee Lauder's Jane Cosmetics, Planned Parenthood, Road & Track, Car & Driver, Eckerd Drug Stores, Hearst Magazines and many more. My brief appearance on Howard Stern's show was the beginning of a very rich and exciting entertainment industry career!
My comic book Bathroom Girls was critically acclaimed, received a prestigious Ignatz Award Nomination and is currently being developed for television. My work has been prominently featured on MTV, Comedy Central, Chappelle's Show, major motion pictures, NBC's multi-Emmy winning 30 ROCK, and is currently being seen on Tina Fey and Robert Carlock's new hit, The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt on Netflix. My stand-up and improv comedy performances happen randomly on Sirius radio and in NYC comedy clubs.
